Housestyle
|
Explain
why an organization needs a consistent house style:
Allows
the company to have a consistent style that allows them to be recognized
whenever they send letters, emails or documents.
It
makes it clear to people who the business is and what they are about.
|
Identify
the house style of a well-known business and five features:
·
Header always looks
the same, red bar surrounding the school badge/logo.
·
The footer is always
the same, containing the address, phone number, email and other information.
·
Sets the default font
of documents, e.g. it isn’t Times New Roman.
·
Contains the school
slogan.
·
Contains the name of
the school.

Master documents and slides
|
Describe
how master documents/slides, style sheets and templates can be used to create
a consistent house style
Allow
the whole document or presentation to be consistent, so everyone viewing it
knows who the company is. It sets the slide’s or document’s fonts, colours,
logos, etc so that they match the house style. Shows the company’s ideas.
Every
part of the presentation or the document looks the same, and because it is a
master document/template/master slide, it can be used on any document again
and again without any part of it being changed as the file is on its own.
